Juror 3 by James Patterson and Nancy Allen

This is the first time I’ve read a James Patterson book, but it is certainly not the only one on my “To Be Read” list or my bookshelf. The book starts with a murder of a wealthy social-lite in rural Mississippi. A recent law school graduate Ruby, gets assigned the case. Being fairly new to the practice of law myself, I can 100% relate to Ruby. Her apprehension to take the case and what exactly she needs to do.

This book is definitely a page turner and an easy read. I don’t think I have audibly gasped while reading a book in a while, but this book definitely had some plot twists. I wouldn’t read again, because the twists are spoiled now, but would definitely recommend to a friend!
